Leaders of soil and people of Shariatpur Palang Jazira and the confidant of Sheikh Hasina, Member of Parliament of Constituency 1 Iqbal Hossain Apur, father Advocate Sultan Hossain Mia and mother Syeda Anjuman Nahar visited the graves of Sadar Upazila Awami League and other organizations.
Sadar Upazila Awami League Acting President Fazlul Haque Bepari and General Secretary Golam Mostafa led the funeral of late Alhaj Ad Sultan Hossain Mia and his wife Syeda Anjuman Nahar at MP Iqbal Hossain Apur family cemetery on 26 July 2024 at 11 am.
On the same day, the grave of late Advocate Jahangir Hossain Bepari, former president of Sadar Upazila Awami League, was visited. After visiting the grave, a special prayer is offered for the souls of all the brave martyrs including Bangabandhu’s family.
Meanwhile, Sadar Upazila Awami League Acting President Fazlul Haque Bepari said that the post of Sadar Upazila Awami League President has become vacant due to the untimely death of our Sadar Upazila Awami League President late Advocate Jahangir Hossain Bepari, due to which our beloved leader Palang and Jazira 1 Constituency Member of Parliament Iqbal Hossain have become vacant. On the instructions of Apu Bhai, I was given the responsibility of the President from the position of Vice-President, today I started the official journey to fulfill the responsibility assigned to me by visiting the grave of the beloved leader’s parents and late Jahangir Bhai, I am Iqbal Hossain Apu Bhai and the strong hand of the public leader Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. To do, I will properly fulfill the responsibility assigned to me, inshallah.
