Zakir Hossain:
In a special operation by the police in Goalanda, Rajbari, a UP member named Md. Zakir Hossain (50) has been arrested by the Goalanda Ghat Police Station along with 25 grams of heroin.
On Friday (May 3) at around 7:30 pm, Goalanda Ghat Police Station SI Md. Mahabul Karim led the arrest from the road in front of Alauddin Biswas’ grocery shop in Lal Bhanu Gali, Patitapalli, Uttar Daulatdia of the upazila.
The arrested Zakir Hossain is the son of the late Alauddin Ahmed of South Ujanchar Moizuddin Mandal Para of Ujanchar Union. Zakir Hossain is a member of Ward No. 3 of Goalanda Ujanchar UP.
Goalanda Ghat Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Rakibul Islam said that a regular case was filed against the accused at Goalanda Ghat Police Station and he was sent to Rajbari Court on Sunday afternoon.
