The construction of an unauthorized filling station is underway in the Akkelpur Road, Islampur area of Dhupchachia Upazila of Bogra district. On site, it was seen that Md. Abu Raihan, a BNP worker, is working on the construction of a filling station named M/s Rangdhanu Filling Station. According to the law, the distance between one filling station and another should be 6-8 kilometers. And permission from the Department of Explosives, Fire Service, BSTI Petroleum Corporation must be obtained. None of these are approved, although they applied to the Padma Oil Company on 14/5/2017, they did not receive the application. There is a house next to the pump site. The people of the houses next to it are in fear because of the illegal installation of the pump.
