Two tourist ships plying the Teknaf-Saint Martin route narrowly escaped a major accident. A video of two ships sinking due to bad weather has gone viral on social media Facebook. Since the video went viral, there has been a lot of discussion and criticism about the safety of tourists. But the ship owners say otherwise. Last Tuesday (February 14) at 4 pm on the way back from Saint Martin, two ships named MV Parijat and Sukant were going to sink under the stormy waves of the sea. However, the two ships were saved by the skill of the sailors. There were more than 200 tourists on the two ships. In the viral video on Facebook, it can be seen that the two ships lost control due to strong wind speed and rough waves in the sea. The ship named Sukanta goes into the water once and comes out again. As the two ships were swaying, the tourists on the ship were terrified. At that time, a tourist named Sarwar Alam, who was on the Parijat ship, said, I got a new life. I thought I would almost drown. But due to the experienced sailor we were saved from overturning. Another tourist named Shibli Sadiq said that the ship named Sukanth almost sank. God saved. I will not mention the St. Martin trip in the future. Discussions and criticisms are going on everywhere in this incident. Tofail Ahmed, president of SQUAB, an association of ship owners, said that the sea was rough because of the full moon. But this is normal. There is a little rolling in the ocean when there is movement of water and wind. Then the ship began to sway a little. There is no reason to panic.
