A preparatory meeting was held in Trishal, Mymensingh, to facilitate the movement of people heading home and keep the highway free of traffic jams on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Adha.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abdullah Al Bakiul Bari presided over the discussion meeting at the late Rashedul Islam conference room of the Upazila Parishad on Monday (June 2) afternoon.
Major Imran of Trishal and Bhaluka Army Camp, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mahbubur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Trishal Police Station Mansur Ahmed, former Chairman of Upazila Parishad Alhaj Joynal Abedin, Joint Convener of Upazila BNP Anisuzzaman Mridha, President of Upazila Motor Owners Association A.N.M. Faruk, General Secretary Abdullah Al Shihab, etc. discussed the issues of jam at Trishal bus stand on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway, vehicles moving in the opposite direction, parking not allowed in various places and regular monitoring.
