After three consecutive days, the police are returning to the responsibility of their respective units.

The directive said that the security of all specialized police units including Rajarbagh Police Lines, POMs, Armed Police Battalions (APBNs), all Metropolitan and District Police Lines, other police establishments should be ensured. Force discipline and chain of command must be restored and re-established.

Rajarbagh Police Lines of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, POM, APBN, all Metropolitan and District Police Lines, all training institutes, all officers and forces of all specialized police units have been directed to join their respective workplaces by Thursday evening.

According to the police headquarters, the burial/cremation of the policemen who sacrificed their lives should be done at the earliest and the injured should be given proper treatment.

After the fall of the government, many police stations in the country were attacked, vandalized and set on fire from Monday afternoon. Police vehicles were burnt. Weapons and various tools and documents were looted at many places. After that, the police system in the entire country, including the capital, almost collapsed.

As the police station is not operational, the victims are not able to file complaints or cases and GD (general diary) with the police in the cases of robbery, theft, robbery and other crimes.

In such a situation, the new Inspector General (IGP) expressed regret for the role of the police around the student movement. Moinul Islam.
