The President has appointed three Supreme Court lawyers as Additional Attorney Generals.

The Solicitor Sub Division of the Ministry of Law has issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday.
The three lawyers are Muhammad Abdul Jabbar Bhuya, Mohammad Arshadur Rauf and Mohammad Aneek Rushad Haque.

Sheikh Hasina resigned from the post of Prime Minister on August 5 in the face of the mass movement of students and the people called anti-discrimination student movement and left the country. The next day on August 6 Additional Attorney General Sheikh Mohammad Morshed. Attorney General AM Amin Uddin resigned on August 7. At least 67 Additional Attorney Generals, Deputy Attorney Generals and Assistant Attorney Generals have resigned in succession.
