Lalmonirhat district Awami League vice-president Sirajul Haque, former director of FBCCI, said that the British did not even want to build the Padma Bridge.  The Prime Minister has shown it.  Sheikh’s daughter is father’s daughter.  Building a better Bangladesh by saying goodbye to manga.

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the development and peace rally at Velabari High School and College grounds of Aditmari Upazila on Wednesday (November 8) evening.

Sirajul Haque said, BNP Jamaat is not in the field calling for hartal blockade to sabotage.  The peace-loving people of the country have rejected sabotage in the name of BNP Jamaat’s hartal blockade. Losing public support, Tarek is trying to kill Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from abroad.  Everyone should be alert and aware of this lie of BNP Jamaat.  He urged to stay with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the upcoming elections to continue the trend of development.

Earlier in the morning, an anti-blockade motor showdown was taken out from Lalmonirhat town.  Led by District Awami League vice-president Sirajul Haque, the showdown gathered around a hundred kilometers of Lalmonirhat Burimari highway in a peace and development rally.

Secretary of Aditmari Upazila Jubo League Krishnakant Roy Bidur addressed the gathering, Kamlabari Union Parishad Chairman Mahmud Omar Chishti, Upazila Jubo League President Nabi Hossain, Volunteer League Secretary Farhad Hossain Biplab etc.
