Turkish Health Minister Fakhruddin Koca expressed his “thanks to Saudi Arabia” for the swift cooperation. He participated with a delegation from the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action and the Saudi Red Crescent in Syria and Turkey’s earthquake rescue operations and visits to disaster-affected areas. The Turkish minister appreciated Saudi Arabia’s quick cooperation in the ministry’s request to provide emergency medical assistance to the earthquake victims in the affected areas, while he thanked the Saudi government and the Saudi people, calling them honest and noble people who stood by the Turkish and Syrian brothers. On the other hand, the Saudi delegation expressed its gratitude for the facilities provided by the Turkish government to Saudi medical personnel for humanitarian work in the affected areas, noting that the Saudi relief aircraft continued to provide various medical equipment to help the victims of the earthquake.
