Keeping in mind the theme of “Workers and owners united, we will rebuild this country anew”, a colorful rally and discussion meeting was organized by various labor federations of Tentulia Upazila with due dignity on the occasion of the International May Day. These programs were organized on Thursday (May 1) morning at the Tamarind Tree of Tentulia Chowrasta Bazar.
A colorful rally led by various organizations of Tentulia Upazila started from under the Tamarind Tree of the Chowrasta Bazar of the Upazila and ended in front of the Tamarind Tree after circumambulating the main roads of Tetulia Upazila.
After the rally, a discussion meeting was held with the leaders and members of all organizations and all political figures. The discussion meeting was chaired by Upazila Sramik Dal General Secretary Abbas Ali and was attended by Upazila BNP convener Shahadat Hossain Ranju as the chief guest. Upazila BNP joint convener Abu Sayeed Mia, Upazila Jubo Dal convener Khandaker Abu Noman Imran, Upazila Sramik Kalyan Federation Jahangir Alam, Upazila Van Sramik Samity advisor Saidur Rahman, former Upazila Chhatra Dal president Khandaker Abu Saleh Imran, Chhatra Dal member secretary Abu Bakkar Siddique. Tentulia Sadar Union General Secretary Tozammel Hossain Biplob, and Organizing Secretary Amir Ali. Van Samity president Mansur Ali, Construction worker president Abdus Salam, Hotel worker president Abdul Hakim, Sawmill president Ashraful and others were also present.
