The students were staying at the Sciencelab intersection of the capital as part of the central program of the anti-discrimination student movement to protest against the attacks on the peaceful movement of students and citizens across the country, protesting the firing and 9-point demands. After the stay program, the students went towards Shahid Minar.
On Saturday (August 3) at around 2.30 pm, the students started their march from Sciencelab intersection to Shahid Minar via Newmarket.
During this, the students started chanting various slogans.
On the way from Sciencelab intersection to Shahid Minar, the agitating students started chanting false slogans on seeing the policemen stationed in front of Priyangan shopping complex.
Before this, the students started to gather at ScienceLab intersection from 12:00 PM. Traffic stopped on the surrounding roads.
Meanwhile, students staying at Rampura, Aftabnagar also left for the central Shahid Minar.
