Sheikh Hasina arrived in India. He left the country for India after resigning on Monday (August 5). It is reported that other family members including his sister Sheikh Rehana are also there.
According to BBC Bengal, the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh left for Agartala, India. Indian broadcaster CNN-News18 reported that Sheikh Hasina has already arrived in India.
According to the intelligence sources, the media also said that the Indian government will give ‘safe passage’ to the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh to go to other countries.
Indian media Hindustan Times also confirmed the news of Sheikh Hasina’s arrival in India.

A person close to Sheikh Hasina told news agency AFP that she and her sister left Ganabhaban and went to a safe haven. Before leaving he wanted to record a speech. But he did not get that opportunity.
According to Reuters, Sheikh Hasina and her family members left for India in a military helicopter.
