Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport will remain closed for the next six hours from now. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced this in a circular on Monday (August 5) afternoon.

According to ISPR, Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport will remain closed for the next six hours from now.

Earlier, Sheikh Hasina submitted her resignation letter and left the country. Later, Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman addressed the nation.

He said, I invited the people of all political parties. they came We had a nice discussion. We have decided to form an interim government and through this government all the activities of the country will run. We will now turn to His Excellency the President. I will go to him and discuss about the interim government and manage the country.

Millions of people have come down on the road after the news of Sheikh Hasina leaving the country. In the evening, ISPR announced the closure of the airport.

Sheikh Hasina took oath as Prime Minister for the first time on 23 June 1996. After that, he served for three consecutive terms from 2008 to 2024.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s eldest daughter Sheikh Hasina. He was born on 28 September 1947 in Tungipara, Gopalganj. He was associated with politics since his education. On August 15, 1975, Bangabandhu was killed in his family. At that time Sheikh Hasina and her sister Sheikh Rehana survived because they were abroad. After six years of exile, she returned to the country on May 17, 1981 as the president of Awami League.
