Two people died in Saudi Arabia after heavy rains and strong storms hit them. Three people are still missing. Members of the Civil Defense have rescued an injured child from Asir province in the south-west of Saudi Arabia.
A few cars were swept away by the torrential flow of water on a road in Asir province last Friday. A child was rescued with injuries from a car that was washed away by water. Two bodies were recovered from there.
Saudi’s National Security Service issued a warning of more heavy rain in Mecca. Red alert has been issued in several regions of Saudi Arabia due to heavy rainfall. It includes the regions of Taif, Ardiat, Adam, Bani Yazid and Mesan.
According to a forecast issued by the country’s National Meteorological Department, this weather condition will remain until next Tuesday. The weather forecast has signaled heavy rain as well as lightning. Lightning forecast has been issued especially in Makkah Nijran, Jizhan, Asir, Al Baha.
It should be noted that since last Friday afternoon, floods occurred in Jizan, Asir, Al Baha, Makkah and Madinah. Floods occur due to heavy rains in many places.
