A seminar on the Strategic Acceleration Program was held jointly by the Career Club of International Standard University (ISU) and Accelerating Bangladesh. The event was held at the university’s Mohakhali campus on Tuesday.
The main objective of the program is to inspire students to become entrepreneurs and provide them with the right preparation to build a career in impact-based innovation startups. Participants got a detailed understanding of how to take initiatives to effectively solve social and environmental problems with the help of artificial intelligence or AI technology.
The seminar was attended by DEIED, BHTPA Project Director Manjur Mohammad Shahriar and Accelerating Bangladesh National Program Coordinator Muhammad Arifur Rahman as special speakers. ISU Faculty of Engineering and Technology Dean Professor Md. Abul Kashem, Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Professor Dr. Md. Hakiqur Rahman and Moderator of the Club and Chairperson of the Department of Apparel Merchandising Management Jaglul Haque Mridha. Teachers and students were also present at the seminar.
This strategic acceleration program is being run in collaboration with DEIED Bangladesh, Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority and ICT Division.
