Saudi Arabia in a road accident two young Bangladeshi remittance fighters named Leon Fakir and Nazmul Sheikh have tragically died.
The slain remittance fighters are Leon Fakir, son of Jahangir Fakir of Chowdhurykanda village of Bhanga upazila, Faridpur district, and Nazmul, son of Yunus Sheikh of Bhadrasan village of Tujarpur union of the same district and upazila.
This tragic road accident happened last Sunday. According to the source of the family of the deceased Lyon, he migrated to Saudi Arabia 11 months ago. Six of the 7 workers in their car died in a road accident on their way home from Saturday night duty on Sunday morning. Among them are Lyon Fakir and Nazmul Sheikh of the neighboring union.
The death of Leon Fakir and Nazmul Sheikh cast a shadow of mourning among the local expatriate Bangladeshis.
The bodies of the deceased have been kept in the freezer of the local hospital.
