A young man named Sabuj (25) is fighting with death after being seriously injured in an attack by miscreants in Goaland upazila of Rajbari. He is the son of Ward No. 2 Dewan Para Lutfar Sardar of Goaland Municipality. This incident took place at Daulatdia railway station area around 12 midnight on Monday, February 27. It is known that the green lasts for a long time Was in Saudi Arabia. A few months ago he came home. Again he went to Dhaka on Monday morning to go to Saudi Arabia to fix the documents including his passport. On his way back home from Dhaka, it was night when he went to his cousin named Sohail’s shop saying that he would go home together. At that time he met a friend named Rashid. He was taken to Daulatdia railway station platform. When he went there, 10 to 15 miscreants who were already there attacked him suddenly with native weapons and he fell down on the ground with serious injuries. While taking him to the bank of Padma river in a rickshaw with the intention of killing him, hearing the screams of the people nearby, a team of police mobile force came forward with the help of Azad, a cloth merchant in the bazaar and Shajahan Biswas, manager of Rupsi Bangla Society, and took him to Gowaland Upazila Health Complex for treatment. When Chalakani’s condition worsened, the working doctor referred him to Faridpur Bangabandhu Medical College for better treatment. Till the last news, he is fighting with death. Rokeya Begum Muthofon, a Saudi expatriate’s (mother), said that miscreants killed my son and took two lakh cash, a gold chain, two gold rings, a watch, important documents including passport visa and a Redmi Android phone brought from Saudi. I demand exemplary punishment for those who killed my son like this.
