Saudi Arabia in two falcons sold for 51 lakh taka

Two exceptional falcons were auctioned at high prices on the first night of the International Falcon Breeders Auction in Saudi Arabia.
 A falcon locally known as Hoor from Polish Fire Falcons Farm was sold for 65 thousand Saudi Riyals and another Bidra falcon was sold for 1 lakh 5 thousand Saudi Riyals, two falcons sold for a total of 1 lakh 70 thousand Saudi Riyals or in Bangladeshi currency.  The equivalent of about 51 lakh taka.
 Organized by the Saudi Falcons Club, the event took place last Friday at its headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, and will continue until August 24.
 More than 35 elite falcons from a total of 16 countries are being displayed for sale at the Falcon Show.
 Competition and auction footage are broadcast live on TV channels and the club’s social media platforms.
 Saudi Arabia has long served as the global center for the preservation and competition of the Saudi Falcons Club’s falconry heritage.
 The club’s approach to the development, innovation, breeding and care of falcons continues to contribute to the cultural and economic landscape in raising awareness of environmental conservation.
