Saudi Arabia made Umrah insurance mandatory for foreign travelers

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah affairs has made `Umrah insurance’ mandatory for Umrah pilgrims coming from outside Saudi Arabia.
 According to the statement, Umrah pilgrims who will come to Saudi Arabia from different countries for Umrah this season must pay extra money for Umrah insurance.  And the maximum amount of this money will be 1 lakh riyals.  This amount should be paid along with the Umrah fee.
 According to the information, Umrah pilgrims will get the benefits of this insurance in case of emergency health services, unexpected corona infection, accident, death, ticket purchase for new flight in case of flight cancellation etc.  The government of Saudi Arabia has called for the assistance of the official communication channels of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to get more detailed information in this regard.
