According to the astronomical calculations of Saudi Arabia, it is expected that Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on June 28 and Arafat on June 27.
Holy Eid-ul-Azha is a major and sacrificial festival of Muslims celebrated worldwide.  During Eid-ul-Azha, Muslims around the world perform Hajj and perform animal sacrifices. In addition, Muslim pilgrims performing Hajj on the day of Arafat gather at the Maidan of Arafat located outside the holy city of Mecca.
Although the holiday falls on the tenth day of Zilhaj, the 12th and final month of the Arabic calendar, the exact date of the holiday varies from year to year and is determined by the sighting of the new moon.  Hajj in Saudi Arabia’s holy city of Mecca is also held in this month.
However, the dates may not change until an official announcement is made by the Moon Sighting Committee of Saudi Arabia on the eve of Hajj and Eid-ul-Azha.
