Islamic University, Kushtia : Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Professor Dr. Abul Kalam Azad has been appointed Saddam Hossain Hall Provost at Islamic University (IU) Kushtia. On Sunday (29 September) Acting Registrar HM Ali Hasan signed a office order, to apponinted university’s hall provost.
According to the Register office source, former Saddam Hossain Hall Provost, Department of Mathematics Professor Dr. Md. Asaduzzaman resigned, cause his personal issues. Instead his position, Department of Biomedical and Genetic Engineering Professor Dr. Abul Kalam Azad, has been appointed for next one year.
Resident student Hasnat Abdulla said, many types of problems in our hall , seat discrimination, dirty washrooms, slow internet connection and low quality meal served in dining . Hopefully the new hall Provost Sir will solve our problems.
Newly appointed hall provost Prof Dr. Abul Kalam Azad said, next week I attend to the hall office , talking to the residential students, try to know about their problems.
