Russia has no plans to evacuate Russian citizens staying in Bangladesh. The Russian Embassy in Dhaka has confirmed this information.
Russian news agency TASS has been informed by the embassy that there is no plan to evacuate citizens from Bangladesh. There was no message that anyone wanted to leave.
They also mentioned that the situation around the Russian Embassy in Dhaka is calm.
The embassy also said that Russian nationals involved in the Rooppur nuclear power plant project are not in any danger.
