Keeping in mind the theme of “Nutritious food from children to the elderly is universal”, the Kaptai Upazila National Nutrition Week was held in the conference room of the Upazila Hospital under the chairmanship of Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Ruihla Ang Marma. With the aim of increasing public awareness about nutrition nationwide, the National Nutrition Week-2025 has started in Kaptai, Rangamati from Wednesday (May 28) with the theme of ‘Nutritious food from children to the elderly is universal’. A procession was also organized from the Health Department premises at 11 am under the implementation of the Kaptai Upazila Health Department organized by the Public Health Nutrition Institute. Upazila Women Affairs Officer Rini Chakma, Youth Development Officer Md. Hossain, Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board’s Sustainable Social Service Project Kaptai Upazila Project Manager Mridul Chowdhury, Assistant Education Officer Ankhi Talukder, Baraichhari Karnaphuli Nurul Huda Kaderi High School Headmaster Joyseem Barua, Kaptai Upazila BRAC Health Project Senior Program Officer Shampa Das Gupta, Upazila Safe Food Inspector Md. Elias, Chandraghona Christian Hospital Community Health Program Program Manager Bijoy Marma, government officials, health department officials and media personnel were present at the time.
