Rajbari in human chain demanding release of Prothom Alo journalist and withdrawal of case against editor

Prothom Alo’s own reporter Shamsuzzaman Shams was dismissed and released unconditionally, the case against editor Matiur Rahman was withdrawn and a human chain program was held at Rajbari demanding the repeal of the Digital Security Act. On the initiative of Prothom Alo Rajbari Bandhu Sabha, this program was celebrated for an hour on the road in front of Rajbari Press Club on Friday at 10 am.

Journalists working in various media and friends of the association were present in the program.

At this time, placards were displayed saying ‘withdraw the case against editor Matiur Rahman, cancel the harassment case against journalist Shamsuzzaman Shams and release him unconditionally, cancel the Digital Security Act’.
