Hannan Talukder said in a written statement that local Abu Hossain Raju has a dispute with Imam Hossain regarding his ancestral and purchased property. Attacks, lawsuits and threats are ongoing with them over land. Hannan left his area in 2007 due to their oppression and started living in a rented house in Rajapur with his family in Upazila Sadar. In 2012, opponents set Hannan’s village house on fire. After going to the village house, the opponents have been demanding money from Hannan. Currently Hannan went to his village home on August 6. At that time, Abu with his group attacked Hannan and injured him and snatched the cash and mobile phone from his pocket. At that time, the local people rescued Hannan and brought him to the Upazila Health Complex. Hannan can’t work like before due to being injured in a road accident a few days ago. Now he has to suffer a lot to run the family. There are several cases pending on him. In such a situation, after being saved from the enemy’s grasp, Hannan can live a healthy life with his family members and requested the concerned authorities’ good vision.
