Peace rally of Awami League was held in Rajapur of Jhalkathi. The rally was held on Saturday afternoon at the Madrasa ground of Putiyakhali Jhalobari of the upazila. M. Moniruzzaman Monir, member of the sub-committee on freedom fighters of Central Awami League, was the chief guest on the occasion. Upazila Awami League President Adv.Khairul Alam Sarfaraz presided over the gathering as special guest, district Awami League member Stamford University Trustee Board Chairman Fatinaz Feroze. Upazila Awami League General Secretary and Vice Chairman Zia Haydar Khan Liton, Joint General Secretary Mojibar Mridha, Organizing Secretary Shafiqul Islam Dezling Talukdar, Upazila Jubo League Acting President Sabur, General Secretary Fakrul Islam Khan, Upazila Chhatra League President Parvez Babu spoke at the meeting.In the speech of the chief guest, Moniruzzaman Monir said that under the leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina, a better state will be transformed in 2041. BNP is making a blueprint to come back to power. People rejected BNP. Sheikh Hasina was calling to come in 2014 elections. That day he did not come to the polls, created anarchy, killed people and burned hundreds of schools. All evil forces of Bangladesh including BNP must be resisted. All progressive forces must unite. Sheikh Hasina must be brought to power to keep the economic wheels moving. He called for voting on Sheikh Hasina’s boat symbol in the 12th National Assembly elections.
