Yesterday, on February 28, 2023 AD, a raiding party of RAB-10 conducted an operation in Jatrabari Mor area under Jatrabari police station of the capital Dhaka and arrested 02 robbers. Name of arrested persons 1. Mithu Fakir (26) and 2. He is said to be Md Sharif (40). 02 knives used in robbery and 01 mobile phone were recovered from them.
On the same date, another raiding party of RAB-10 conducted another operation in Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium area under Paltan Police Station of the capital Dhaka and arrested 02 robbers. Name of arrested persons 1. Md Miraz (18) and 2. He is known as Md. Zahirul Islam Howladar (18). Meanwhile, 01 knife and 01 knife used in robbery were recovered from them.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested persons had been threatening passers-by with sharp knives in various areas including Jatrabari Paltan and robbing them of various valuable assets including money and mobile phones. A regular case has been registered against the arrested persons in the concerned police station.
