02 professional drug dealers with 250 bottles of Fensidil arrested from Kumarkhali area of ​​Kushtia in anti-narcotics operation of RAB-10, CPC-3, Faridpur camp; 02 motorcycles seized for transporting drugs.
1. Since its inception, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has been playing a leading role in bringing all types of criminals under the law to maintain the overall law and order situation of the country. RAB has been conducting regular operations against militants, terrorists, organized criminals, armed criminals, robbers and narcotics. RAB has continued its anti-narcotics campaign to eliminate drugs with the slogan “Let’s go to war, against drugs”.

In continuation of this yesterday, on 26th June 2024, at approximately 17:30 in the afternoon, an expeditionary team of RAB-10, CPC-3 Faridpur camp conducted an operation in Kumarkhali area of ​​Kushtia district based on secret information. In the said operation, 02 drug dealers were arrested along with 250 (two hundred and fifty) bottles of Phencidil worth approximately 7,50,000/- (seven lakhs and fifty thousand) rupees. Name of arrested persons 1. Md. Badsha Sheikh (40), father-deceased Abu Chaddin, Sang-Bishwanathpur, Thana-Mujibnagar, District-Meherpur and 2. Md. Mamun Hossain (28), Father – Md. Farz Mandal, Sang-Sahebnagar, Thana-Daulatpur, District-Kushtia. At this time 02 motorcycles used for carrying drugs were seized from them.
3. Preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested persons are professional drug dealers. They had been collecting phensidyl and other narcotics from different border areas of the country and supplying them to different areas of the country including Kushtia, Faridpur and capital Dhaka.
4. Drug cases were registered against the arrested persons: Transferred to the concerned police station.
