RAB-10 arrested 05 people with illegal mobile network equipment from Banshal area of the capital.
Staff Reporter : Since its inception, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has been playing a leading role in bringing all types of criminals under the law to maintain the overall law and order situation of the country. RAB is regularly conducting operations against militants, terrorists, organized criminals, murderers, rapists, anti-patriots, cyber criminals, robbers, drug dealers and illegal arms holders.
In continuation of this yesterday, on February 8, 2023 AD, the joint raid team of RAB-10 and BTRC conducted an operation in Bashundhara Square Market area under Banshal Thana of Dhaka and arrested 05 people for the crime of selling prohibited illegal mobile network jammer booster and repeater. Name of arrested persons 1. Md Yunus Ali (32), 2. Md. Sohail Hossain (23), 3. Md. Heart (22), 4. Md. Safwan (23) and 5. It is known as Aslam (41). 04 Mobile Tree Band Repeaters, 01 Mobile GSM 3G Yellow Repeater, 01 GSM MHz Repeater, 06 Indoor Antennas, 05 Outdoor Antennas, 06 Mobile Phones and Cash- 4,100/- (Four Thousand One Hundred) were recovered from them. .
Preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested persons are active members of the illegal mobile network jammer booster and repeater sales ring. It is known that they have been selling illegal mobile network jammer boosters and repeaters and accessories to members of various criminal gangs for some time now for dishonest purposes.
A regular case has been registered against the arrested persons in the concerned police station.
