RAB is regularly carrying out extensive operations to recover stolen mobiles including militants, terrorists, organized criminals, armed criminals, narcotics, dacoits, robbers. extortionist In continuation of this, yesterday on April 18, 2023 AD, a raiding team of RAB-10 conducted an operation in Osmani Udyan Park area under Shahbag police station of the capital Dhaka based on secret information, 02 people were accused of stockpiling, buying and selling stolen mobile phones collected from different parts of the country. The smuggler was arrested. Name of arrested persons 1. Md. Anwar Hossain (40) and 2. Md. Jihad Hossain (22) is said to be. Meanwhile, 52 stolen mobile phones and 01 tab were recovered from them. Preliminary inquiries revealed that the arrested persons are active members of a mobile smuggling ring. They had been collecting stolen mobile phones from different parts of the country including Dhaka and supplying them to Shahbagh and surrounding areas for quite some time. A regular case has been registered against the arrested persons in the concerned police station.
