Yesterday, on 22nd February 2023 AD, a raiding team of RAB-10 conducted an operation in East Keraniganj police station of Dhaka district and arrested 01 drug dealer with 145 (one hundred and forty five) bags of Yaba tablets. The arrested person’s name is Md. Shamim Howlader (21), Father- Md. Alamgir Howlader, Sang- Kaitmara, Thana- Muladi, District- Barisal, Present Address- Sadarghat, Thana- Kotyali, DMP Dhaka. Meanwhile, 01 mobile phone and drug sale cash-6,700/- (six thousand seven hundred) were recovered from him.Preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested person is a professional drug dealer. He had been supplying Yaba and other narcotics to various areas including South Keraniganj for quite some time. A drug case has been registered against the arrested person in the concerned police station.
