The students of various educational institutions of Khulna have taken a stand at Shibbari intersection of Khulna city to demand 9 points including the trial of killing of students in the quota reform movement. Their stay program started from 12:30 pm on Tuesday. At that time, they made 9-point demands including trial of students’ murder, withdrawal of false cases. Students are chanting slogans for various demands.
Meanwhile, due to road blockade by the students, the movement of vehicles has been stopped on some nearby roads including Khulna-Jeshore Highway, Majid Sarani, KDA Avenue, Ibrahim Mia Road.
Till writing this report, the students were protesting on the road. A large number of police surrounded them. Later, around 2 pm, the students lifted the road blockade.
