 Preparatory meeting on safe preparation, marketing and waste management of sacrificial animals was held at Pawa in Rajshahi. Upazila Executive Officer Lasmi Chakma presided over the preparatory meeting organized by the upazila administration in the upazila parishad hall on Tuesday (June 20) afternoon. Upazila Engineer Maqbul Hossain, Upazila Agriculture Officer Shamsun Nahar Bhuiyan, Upazila Animal Resources Officer Dr. Subrata Kumar Sarkar, Senior Upazila Fisheries Officer Asaduzzaman, Nohata Government Degree College Principal Taib Ali, Upazila Social Service Officer Zahid Hasan Russell, Upazila Accounts Officer Abul were present. Kalam Azad, Islamic Foundation Representative Ruhul Amin Noori, Katakhali Police Station ASI Zainal Abedin, Nohata Municipal Panel Mayor and Councilor Reshvanu Begum. Also present were farmer Shariful Islam, Damkura UP member Mokhleshur Rahman, representatives of cow market committee, representatives of law and order forces, journalists and officials and employees of various departments of upazila administration.
