The 34th International Elderly Day – 2024 was celebrated today in the district with the theme “Ageing with Dignity: Strengthening Elderly Care and Support System Globally”. A discussion meeting was held at the Shaheed Abdur Razzak-Saif Mizan Memorial Hall in the District Commissioner’s office on Tuesday at 10 am to mark the day.
District Social Service Office Deputy Director Md. Iqbal Kabir presided over by District Social Service Office Assistant Director Md. Ibrahim Khalil.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ashraful Alam Khan spoke as the chief guest in the discussion meeting.
