After a long eight years, the Central Chhatra Dal has approved a partial and full committee of 11 members of Pirojpur District Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal. Salauddin Talukder Kumar has been made the president and Mahmud Hasan Shaheen the general secretary of the committee. This information was given in a press release signed by Central Chhatra Dal President Md. Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir on June 3.
The others on the committee are Senior Vice President Raihan Raju, Vice President Mahdi Hasan, Lutfar Rahman Liton, SM Ferdous, Senior Joint General Secretary Al Imran Monu, Joint General Secretary Shahriar Obi, and Organizing Secretary Rana Mallick, Office Secretary Khalid Hasan and Publicity Secretary Iftekar Ahmed Rony.
The notification instructed the government to form a full-fledged committee within the next one month and submit it to the central office.
Salauddin Talukder Kumar, president of the new partial full committee, said, “The central Chhatra Dal has given this committee to organize the Pirojpur district Chhatra Dal well and to implement the 31 points of the future national hero Tarique Rahman. We will work for the party in the coming days in coordination with the instructions of the central Chhatra Dal and the district BNP.”
Meanwhile, as soon as the news of the partial committee announcement was received, Chhatra Dal workers took out a joyous procession in the city. Later, the newly elected committee members met with district BNP convener Principal Alamgir Hossain and greeted him with flowers.
