Students of anti-discrimination student movement have done market monitoring to ensure market control of commodity prices and food quality in Tentulia upazila of Panchagarh. On Friday (August 9) afternoon, they monitored the price list of daily necessities and commodity prices of Tentulia Chowrasta raw market of upazila city.

At that time, they went to various business establishments in Tentulia Chowrasta market and requested the traders not to sell products at higher prices. At the same time they visited various hotel restaurants to see the quality of food and urged to maintain cleanliness. Also, the students visited Tentulia Chowrasta raw market and monitored the price list hung in the shop and whether the products were being sold accordingly. They advised not to pay any subscription.

The students said that such programs will continue until normal conditions return to the country.

Hazrat Ali, Ragib Ishraq Preyas, Moktaruzzaman Moktar, Sun, Zakaria Ahmed and other students of anti-discrimination student movement were present in the monitoring program.

Meanwhile, today the students are controlling the traffic system at the intersection of various roads in the district city. At the same time they are conducting district and upazila cleanliness drives. In continuation of this, the upazila students were seen monitoring the market.
