The orientation of the new students admitted in various faculties in Level-1, Semester-1 of Patuakhali University of Science and Technology for the academic year 2022-23 was held yesterday, December 12, Tuesday at 10 am in the university auditorium.
Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Swadesh Chandra Samant addressed the orientation program under the chairmanship of Dean’s Council Convenor Prof. Abul Bashar Khan. In the event, the registrar (retired) Prof. Dr. Treasurer Professor Muhammad Ali gave a special guest speech moderated by Santosh Kumar Basu.
In the speech of the chief guest, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Swadesh Chandra Samant said that students have to play an important role in building skilled manpower to face the fourth industrial revolution and build a smart Bangladesh. At the beginning of the ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor greeted the new students with flowers. Later, Treasurer Professor Mohammad Ali introduced the university through multimedia projector.
The orientation program was attended by teachers of various faculties of the university, department heads and admitted freshers.
