Munshiganj District Narcotics Control Directorate conducted operations in different areas of Gazaria Upazila of Munshiganj under the leadership of Inspector Saiful Islam of Narcotics Control Directorate on 28/06/23 from morning to noon. A person named Russel Sarkar with 1 thousand 6 hundred Yaba tablets in the raid Arrested by Munshiganj Narcotics Control Directorate. The arrested Russel Sarkar is the son of Md. Alamgir Sarkar of Puran Baushia village. Narcotics Control Directorate confirmed the matter and said that Md. Russell Sarkar and his associate Md. Jahangir Pradhan (43) (absconder) conducted anti-narcotics operations in different parts of the upazila and recovered a total of 1600 (one thousand six hundred) pieces of Yaba tablets from their possession at Gazaria police station.Preparations are underway to file a regular case It may be noted that Gazaria Police has multiple drug cases against the accused.
