A drug dealer named Md Abdullah Al Mamun (25) in Rajbari was sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of Tk 10,000 in a drug case and the other accused Roni was acquitted as the charge under Section 19(1) of Table 3(b)/25 of the Narcotics Control Act, 1990 was not proved beyond doubt. done

Md. Abdullah Al Mamun is the son of Md. Rezaul Shikdar of Panighti, Mohammadpur Police Station, Magura District. The other accused Roni (absconder) is the son of Ah Jalil of Qazi Para of Goland Ghat police station.

According to Section 19(1) Table 3(b)/25 of Narcotics Control Act of 1990, Judge Jannatun Lilifa Akhtar of Rajbari Additional Sessions Judge Court-1 gave this verdict. Gowland Ghat Police Station Case No-13, dated 30/08/2010 AD. Session Case No-04/2011 GR, Case No-154/2010.
Additional P,P Md. Abu Bakar Mia was the lawyer for the state and Bijan Kumar Bose and Sujoy Kundu were the lawyers for the accused.

According to the case source, S,I Md Shaminul Haque of Goland Ghat police station, Sangiya Cong/208 Abul Hossain, Cong/328 Sirajul Islam, Cong/371 Sahabur Rahman, Cong-379 Ziaur Rahman are the sons of Md Rezaul Shikdar of Panighti, Mohammadpur police station of Magura. Md. Abdullah Al Mamun (25) appeared at the police station and filed a statement to the effect that Goalanda Ghat police station MC No. 650/2010, on 30th August 2010 while doing mobile duty in Goalanda Ghat police station area, he came to know on the basis of secret information at 2:15 a.m. Abdullah Al Mamun, the passenger of Seat No. R-1 of Dhaka Metro-B-14-1144 Satkhira Express Paribahan No. is taking Indian Fensidil to Dhaka for sale. In further questioning, the accused Abdullah Al Mamun was told that his co-accused Roni with the help of 2/3 others who are unknown have been trading Fensidil for a long time. Later he appeared at the Goalanda Ghat police station along with the accused and the seized evidence and filed a statement against the two accused under Section 3(b)/25 of Table 19(1) of the Narcotics Control Act, 1990.
