1 person was killed in a collision between a passenger bus and an easybike in Ramu, Cox’s Bazar. Yesterday, Monday, (February 27) at 9 o’clock in the morning, the accident took place in front of Zowarianala Mahila Madrasa on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway. The deceased Mohammad Gani (30) was a resident of East Murapara area of Ward No. 5 of Zowarianala Union of Ramu Upazila. Several passengers including the easybike driver were injured in the accident. In the meantime, the condition of the easybike driver Nurul Azim is said to be critical. Eyewitnesses said that while an easybike was overtaking another easybike, a Chittagong-bound passenger bus collided with the easybike. Pedestrians rescued the injured from the scene and took them to the hospital. The doctor on duty declared Mohammad Gani, the passenger of the easy bike, dead. Sub-inspector Zainal Abedin of Ramur Tulatali Highway Police Outpost said that 1 person died in the accident. The body was sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue.
