On his way back from India, ‘Langra’ Jamal was caught by BGB

Sylhet Correspondent : BGB arrested Jamal Hussain alias Langra Jamal on his way back from India after illegal entry without passport. A BGB patrol team of Birendranagar BOP in Tahirpur arrested him from the border area inside Bangladesh around 2 am on Sunday. On Monday, he was handed over to Tahirpur police station along with evidence and a case was filed by BGB. On Tuesday, the responsible source of 28 BGB Sunamganj confirmed this information. Jamal is the son of Abdul Hasem of Lamakata, border village of North Sreepur Union, Tahirpur Upazila, Sunamganj. Being a professional drug smuggler, Jamal Hussain Langra is known to smugglers across the border as Jamal. BGB patrol team seized a 100 cc Platina motorcycle and a mobile phone set (with two SIMs) from Jamal’s custody during the arrest. Tahirpur police station OC Delwar Hossain said that BGB filed a case against Jamal on Monday.
