Online Desk: Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations are published. According to the results, the number of educational institutes with 100% pass has decreased. This time the total number of educational institutions participating in the examination is 2 thousand 975. Out of this all the students of 1 thousand 330 educational institutions have passed. Last year this number was 1 thousand 934.
Education Minister Dipu Moni detailed the results at a press conference at the International Mother Language Institute at Segunbagicha in the capital on Wednesday (February 8) at 12:30 pm.
Earlier, Education Minister Dipu Moni and board chairmen handed over the results of their respective boards to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Prime Minister’s Office, Chameli Hall. Deputy Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Naufel was present at the time.
The results show that out of the total 11 lakh 77 thousand 387 students participating this year, 6 lakh 9 thousand 522 are male and 5 lakh 67 thousand 865 female. Among them 5 lakh 15 thousand 244 male students and 4 lakh 96 thousand 743 female students passed. Out of this 80 thousand 561 male students and 95 thousand 721 female students got GPA-5. In all the boards, the girls are ahead in GPA-5.
