Staff Reporter : Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md. Shahab Uddin said, to establish Bangladesh as a dignified developed prosperous state, the spirit of the great liberation war and the ideals of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu should be inspired in the hearts of the new generation to read books on the liberation war. Deviation from this norm shall not be allowed under any circumstances. Poems, essays, stories, novels, etc. should be written on this subject to involve the people in the march of this consciousness. If we are inspired by the spirit of the liberation war and do our work properly, our country will become the golden bangla of bangabandhu’s dream and the smart bangladesh announced by the honorable prime minister. The environment minister said these things while speaking as the chief guest of the program organized on the occasion of unveiling, seminar and poetry reading of the book ‘Muktir Sangram Nirantar’ written by poet Moniruzzaman Badal at the Kavi Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the National Museum on February 8. The environment minister said, we have to develop our intellect and thinking through the spirit of non-communal, democratic and non-discriminatory social system and above all, the practice of the ideals of the father of the nation. We have to love the simple hardworking common people, rivers, natural beauty of our country. One should read more books on liberation war like the book named ‘Mukti Sangram Nirantar’ which is an outstanding expression of multi-faceted life experience. We must work to fulfill the dreams of the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Great War of Liberation. In the seminar organized by Pragati Natyam, dramatist and researcher Dr. Zahrawi Ripon. At the beginning of the program, artist Manija Muni performed music and at the end, recitalist Musarrat Zaman Orani performed a solo recital.
