The National Parliament was dissolved in view of the decision of the three army chiefs, leaders of various political parties, representatives of civil society and leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement with President Md Sahabuddin.
Besides, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has been released. From July 1, 2024 to August 5, the anti-discrimination movement and the release of detainees in various cases have started and many have already been released.
