Murder Case Accused Kashem (42) from Boalmari, Faridpur Arrested by RAB in Manikganj Sadar
On 21/03/2025 at approximately 11:00 AM, the victim, Amir Hossain, was filling land at the rear of their property with soil taken from his own land when a land dispute escalated. Accused Md. Kashem Molya (42), along with other accomplices, attacked the victim indiscriminately. When the victim’s elder brother, Md. Delowar Hossain @ Dulu Molya (46), tried to intervene, the attackers also struck him with sharp local weapons, causing severe bleeding and critical injuries. Hearing their screams, locals rushed to the scene and took both victims to Boalmari Upazila Health Complex. As their condition worsened, doctors referred them to Faridpur Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment. Later, their brother, Abdur Mannan Molya (48), filed a complaint with Boalmari Police Station in Faridpur. A case was registered as Case No. 28, dated 27/03/2025, under Sections 143/323/325/326/379/307/114 of the Penal Code, 1860. Following the death of Delowar Hossain during treatment at Faridpur Medical College Hospital, Section 302/34 was added to the case. To bring the perpetrators to justice, the Investigating Officer submitted a request to the Commanding Officer of RAB-10, Dhaka. Based on this request, an operational team of RAB-10 increased surveillance to arrest the accused.Following this, on 10/05/2025 at approximately 12:30 PM, the RAB-10 operational team, based on secret information and using technology, and with the assistance of RAB-4, conducted a raid in the area near the BISIC Gate, Golra Charkhand, under Manikganj Sadar Police Station. They arrested the named accused in the murder case, Md. Kashem Molya (42), son of Lutfar Molya, of Purbo Kamargram, Boalmari Police Station, Faridpur District.The arrested accused has been handed over to the concerned police station.
