In order to celebrate the 44th death anniversary of martyred President Ziaur Rahman with due dignity on Friday, May 30, 2025, a preparatory discussion meeting was held at the BNP party office at the initiative of Gabtoli Municipal BNP at 11 am today, Tuesday, May 27, 2025, under the chairmanship of Municipal BNP Vice President Atwar Rahman.
The chief guest of the discussion meeting was the human rights secretary of Bogra district BNP, Gabtoli Thana BNP member, three-time former mayor of Gabtoli Municipal Sabha, Md. Saiful Islam. The meeting was moderated by the village government affairs secretary of the district BNP, Gabtoli Municipal BNP general secretary Abdur Rahim Pintu. Former president of the municipal BNP, Dr. Sabed Ali, vice-presidents of the municipal BNP, Afsar Ali Mizu, Iskandar Ali Moyna, ATM Moti, Abu Hasnat Sain, Gafur Shah, joint general secretary Saidul Islam, Khorshed Alam Jewel, organizing secretary Tariqul Islam, Tajul Islam, co-organizing secretary Nurullah Akand, Shyamal Tarafdar, publicity and publication secretary Nasir Uddin Bulbul, office secretary Mustafa Kamal Kanak, and treasurer lecturer Hamidul Haque Chilu. The meeting was also addressed by District Youth Dal leader Sabbir Ahmed, Joint Convener of Municipal Youth Dal Anwar Hossain, Youth Dal Tajul, Nipun, Chhoni, Pesta, Volunteer Party leader Daulat, Chhatra Dal leader Abdul Gani, Municipal Chhatra Dal Joint General Secretary Rahi, Shramik Dal President Shafiqul Islam, Joint Secretary Jewel Ahmed and many others.
