Moulvibazar Sadar police station in the special operation of , 6 gamblers were arrested with gambling equipment on the night of February 12.
The arrested are Shahid Mia (40), Mahatab Ahmad (35), Fazlu Mia (50), Rubel Mia (33), Ayub Mia (29) and Jitu Mia (36). All of them are residents of Atgaon village of Amoil Union under Moulvibazar Sadar Thana. It is known that – today on the basis of secret information, SI Mahbubul Alam of Moulvibazar Sadar police station is the social officer.
Along with the force raided the residence of Shaheed Mia of Atgaon village and arrested 6 people while gambling. Meanwhile, 52 cards used in gambling and cash totaling Tk 1050 were seized from them. 6 people were arrested in this incident a case has been registered against Moulvibazar Sadar Police Station under the Gambling Act.
