 A fine has been levied in the mobile court for the crime of lifting soil by dredgers at Barura in Comilla. On Monday, May 22, mobile court was conducted in different places of Barura Upazila. At that time, the crime of excavation of soil by dredger in Deora village of Barura municipality was taken into account and the accused Zainal Abedin was fined 50,000/ (fifty thousand taka) under the Balu Mahal and Soil Management Act-2010. Barura Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Md. Mehedi Hasan managed the mobile court. He said mobile court will continue in Barura upazila for public interest. Meanwhile, the local people and public representatives along with the Sangeet police force assisted the mobile court.
