The monthly law enforcement committee meeting was held at Patuakhali Galachipa. On Monday, August 12 at eleven o’clock in the hall room of the upazila complex under the chairmanship of the executive officer Md. Mohiuddin Al Helal, the special guests were the chairman of the upazila parishad Wana Marzia Nitu, and the law and order duty of Galachipa-Dashmina upazila Major Md. Mushfiq Moeed, the municipal mayor Ahsanul Haque Tuhin, the upazila health. The monthly meeting was held in the presence of Karkarta Dr. Md. Mezbah Uddin Ahmed, Agriculture Officer Arju Akhtar, OC of Galachipa Police Station.
After the welcome speech of the executive officer Mohiuddin Al Hela, the coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement, student of Barisal University Md. Shahed Hossain demanded proposals to remove various discriminations.
The president of Galachipa Press Club and columnist M. Khalid Hossain Milton gave a speech agreeing to the proposal of anti-discrimination students.

Special guest Major Moeed said that along with the police, the Bangladesh Army is always vigilant to protect the lives and property of the people and the law and order, strict vigilance against any looters, threats, extortionists and gave direction to the upazila procession.
