 On the occasion of the police operation in connection with the recovery of illegal weapons and drugs and the arrest and sentence warrant Tamil, under the overall supervision of the officer-in-charge of Moulvibazar Sadar Model Police Station Mohammad Harunur Rashid Chowdhury and the direction of Police Inspector (Investigation) Md. Moshiur Rahman, multiple police stations of Moulvibazar Sadar Model Police Station were conducted. 9 people have been arrested after conducting raids at different places with the help of special raid team and other officers and forces. Today on July 15, those arrested have been sent to the learned court through proper police escort.
On July 14, under the leadership of SI Zakir Hossain Rubel, the accused Nikhil Kumar Vaidya, son of Kshitish Chandra Vaidya of Athangiri village, who was sentenced to 2 years, and under the leadership of ASI Rezaul Karim, the accused, Rumel Mia, son of deceased Chhmir Mia of Barahar Tilak village, who was sentenced to 6 months, and 7 accused under arrest warrant. Akhtar Mia son of deceased Mosahid Mia of Kazirgaon area, Shahjahan Mia son of Abdur Razzak of Matarkapan village, Sharif Uddin son of Sheikh Zainullah of Hilalpur area, Quddus Mia son of Arjat Ullia deceased of Kamalpur village, Enamul Haque son of Rahat Ullah Milan deceased, Kamal Miah, son of Quddus Miah of West Shamerkona village, Azad Miah Rahim Miah, deceased of Sribaur village were arrested and sent to the learned court. According to the police, “Team Moulvibazar Sadar Model Police Station” is continuing to conduct special operations under the direct supervision of the Moulvibazar Police Superintendent to prevent theft, robbery and control the law and order situation in the police station area.
